How the questions are made. And what we leave out.
A practice question is only useful if its answer is right for your state. This is the process every one of the 2,392 published questions went through.
1. Written against the outline
Each question maps to a line of the state's published exam outline and cites its source — the state insurance code, a department rule, or a national reference such as the NAIC. The source is shown under every explanation.
2. Answered blind
A second reviewer answers the question without seeing the answer key, and separately checks the facts, the source, the wording and whether more than one option could be defended.
3. Published only if both agree
If the reviewer picks a different answer, marks the question ambiguous, or has low confidence, it is sent back for revision and stays out of the app.
The numbers
When a question is wrong anyway
Laws change and reviewers are human. Every question in the app has a report button; every report is checked against the cited source, and a corrected question goes through the same blind review before it returns. You can also write to examprepappios@gmail.com.
What we do not claim
We don't publish pass rates or promise a result — we have no verified data for either. Readiness in the app is calculated from your own independent answers across the whole syllabus, and guessed or hinted answers don't count toward it.
